Finding springtime in Quebec City

Arriving in Quebec City, we found blue skies, leafy green trees and colorful tulips decorating this 400 year old city.  Sampling the local cuisine at the many outdoor cafes has rounded out a delightful first day.

The Fountaine de Tourny, with the Parliament building in the background, is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.  Located just outside the walls of the old city, the fountain was installed in Quebec City in 2007 but is actually over 150 years old.  It’s original home? Bordeaux, France.

  1. You are lucky to be able to experience our neighbour to the north! I have seen some of those places, and I love your pictures, they refresh my memories! Enjoy the local food! Edith
